We thought we would share some quick, simple facts about Cradles 2 Crayons Children's Consignment Sale!
- First Sale: September 2006, 40 consignors - March 2010 Sale had well over 100 consignors
- Barcode system was introduced in September 2008 and weeded out hand-written tags in September 2009
- Donation of clothes have gone to: UMC Health System's Burn Unit's Angel Closet, Highland Baptist's Clothes Closet, Lubbock's State School.
- C2C's staff is composed of three full-time working moms (and one Nana)
- C2C does its best to provide the best customer service possible.
- We are in constant search for a bigger location to enable us to display all items better
- In 3 ½ days the C2C’s staff puts in 43 hours plus all preparation time that goes into this event all year long-this leads to a very poor “hourly” rate for our staff.
- We meet at least monthly to talk about the upcoming event 12 months out of the year
- Customer service is always in the forefront of the staff’s minds-fairness is a close second.
- Raintree Christian Church were gracious host for the past 7 sales! We cannot thank them enough for the hospitality, friendliness, and help throughout those 7 sales.
- In a fast, whirl-wind 3 1/2 days, our staff has a great time meeting new people and incredible moms across the South Plains.
