ALL volunteers will have the opportunity to shop the Pre-presale before the consignors or general public are even allowed to shop! Also by becoming a volunteer, you can earn more money back if you are a consignor in the sale!

Volunteering will open up Monday, August 23rd at noon and will be filled on a first come first serve basis. To volunteer, you must activate your account and sign-up to volunteer on August 23rd-it will not be available before that date.

The volunteer tab is located at the top right of the screen once you log into your account. Please make sure that you sign-up early as these spots fill up quickly! Once they are filled, there will be limited opportunities to shop early or make more money! All opportunities must be approved prior to the start of the sale by Allison. Thank you!

Volunteer Opportunities!!

    1. Volunteer to bring clothes racks. These must be delivered to Highland Baptist Church Family Life Center between 5pm-6pm September 22, 2010. You MUST be responsible for delivery and pick-up. Also, please make sure that they are clearly labeled with your name and phone number. Each two racks counts as 5% return on your sales.
    2. Volunteer at the sale. Duties may include inspecting and sorting incoming items, set-up or tear down, and helping customers. Every two hour shift must be completed before receiving credit for the shift. Each shift is 5% return on your items.
    3. Meals for Workers- Our great volunteer workers get tired and hungry! Be willing to bring a meal and drinks-approx 6 people. Each meal is 5% return on your sales!
    4. Referral Program - For every 3 active consignors that you recruit (and name you), you will receive $25 Cradles Cash.  When your recruit registers, they must put your name in the box as a referral for you to get credit.  Your referral must be consigning for the first time and bring at least 15 items to the sale.   For every 1 Platinum package sponsor that you recruit (and names you), you will receive $25 Cradles Cash.  Cradles Cash is “money” towards your purchase at the sale and is not redeemable for cash. Cradles Cash will be distributed as you enter the Volunteer/Consignor Sale and not before.  These terms must be agreed upon prior to the start of the sale on Thursday at 4pm.

RULES OF BEING A VOLUNTEER:

  1. Be on time to your shift and stay for your entire shift
  2. Be prepared for your shift (comfortable shoes, finished shopping, rested) 
  3. If volunteering during non-sale hours, do not shop or place items to the side.  We heavily rely on our volunteers and need them to "work" their shift-not shop!
  4. Volunteer options must be agreed upon prior to the start of the event on Wednesday.
  5. All cancellations must be done by Tuesday prior to the event as many wish to volunteer but are turned away due to needs already being filled

By not fulfilling the volunteer’s options that you signed up for OR by not abiding by the rules listed above, you will be prohibited from volunteering at the next sale that you consign.
